The mission of the Intensivist Investigator Working Group is to provide a forum for SIREN investigators and trainees who practice intensive care to: 1) provide feedback on SIREN trial proposals and ideas in the pipeline, 2) discuss and develop new ideas for SIREN trials and ancillary studies, and 3) promote academic collaboration for publication and dissemination.
The mission of the Trauma Working Group is to support multidisciplinary, multi-center trauma care research to promote excellence in trauma care. We provide expertise to develop and fund pragmatic trauma care research proposals.

The mission of the Human Subjects Protection Working Group (HSP) is to help advance research efforts in the SIREN Network while keeping the human research participants’ interests, rights, justice, and wellbeing at the forefront. The group works to be an advocate for human research participant welfare, and to maintain ethical standards in clinical trials. HSP also helps SIREN sites by providing a venue for transparent discussion and educational moments in ethical or regulatory related issues.

Patterns Of Survivors’ Recovery Trajectories in the ICECAP Trial
The mission of the Education, Training, and Collaboration Working Group (ETC) is to promote the professional development for: New and future triaists (including but not limited to SIREN Fellows), new site PIs, and research professionals working in acute and emergency clinical trials research. The group will also work to promote academic collaboration for publication and dissemination, and coordinate experiences for SIREN fellows.
