Research Coordinators

Research coordinators play a vital role in the success of clinical trials. This page serves as a central hub for education, training, and continuing education resources to support coordinators within the SIREN network.

Explore opportunities such as the monthly Study Coordinator Callseducation spotlights, micro-trainings, and continuing education resources for ACRP and SOCRA certification. You’ll also find access to journal clubs, didactic presentations, and clinical trial methodology webinars—many of which contribute to SOCRA & ACRP CE credits.

SIREN Monthly Research Coordinator Meetings

Join us for SIREN’s monthly research coordinator calls, where we bring together study coordinators from across the network to stay informed, enhance skills, and foster collaboration. These sessions deliver essential trial updates, keeping research coordinators informed, aligned, and prepared for success.

Each call features interactive learning opportunities, including our “CRF Review of the Day”—a focused discussion on case report forms to improve data accuracy—and “Education Spotlights,” where we dive into key topics to strengthen research coordination skills. These are recorded and posted below.

Stay engaged, stay informed, and stay connected. Visit our Events Page to find the next meeting!

Study Coordinator Continuing Education Resources

Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) and Project Managers (PMs) certified through SOCRA or ACRP are required to maintain their certification and can do so through completing continuing education credits. SIREN has many available educational opportunities that may be applied toward these continuing education requirements. Many of these resources have been aggregated here to support the network’s CRCs and PMs certification maintenance. Please review your recertification requirements on your particular certification, as the requirements for SOCRA and ACRP vary and these resources do not fulfill all of the requirements.
