SIREN Involvement:
I began my career as a patient care tech on a neurotrauma progressive care unit before joining the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) team at Michigan Medicine. There I served as the primary research coordinator for the pediatric emergency department and PECARN Research, managing multiple network clinical trials and leading research coordination for the department as a whole. I have coordinated multiple Exception from Informed Consent (EFIC) studies, leading public disclosure and community consultation efforts. My education includes a bachelor’s in health science from Saginaw Valley State University and a master’s in public health from The George Washington University, I also am Certified as a Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Outside of work you will find me spending my time biking and avidly following Detroit sports.
